Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) comprises of frameworks and tools designed to help manufacturers start, scale, and sustain their manufacturing transformation. The three core elements of SIRI are Process, Technology, and Organization.
SIRI was developed as part of a global initiative to establish a standardized framework that enables manufacturers worldwide to evaluate and benchmark their facilities as they begin, scale, and sustain their Industry 4.0 transformation.
The figure above illustrates the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) framework. It consists of three building blocks, eight pillars, and sixteen dimensions. The three building blocks are Process, Technology, and Organization, while the eight pillars include Operations, Supply Chain, Product Lifecycle, Automation, Connectivity, Intelligence, Talent Readiness, and Structure & Management.
SK Robotics plays an important role in supporting customers, particularly within the Technology building block. Solutions such as Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), NavWiz, and DFleet help fulfill the three key technology pillars: automation, connectivity, and intelligence.
Figure 2 shows the SK Robotics L300. In this example, customers use the L300 robot to automatically pick up and transport pallet trucks between two locations within their facility. The robot is connected to the internet, and through DFleet, our fleet management system, it enables connectivity between robots and users. Users can monitor robot tasks in real time and collect operational data as the robot moves throughout the facility
The data collected can be integrated into OEE dashboards and other visualization tools for performance analysis. Additionally, machine learning models can be applied to this data to enable predictive insights. This represents the intelligence component, allowing robots to support decision-making processes with minimal human intervention.
Overall, SIRI is a powerful framework that helps manufacturers start, sustain, and grow their Industry 4.0 journey. Technologies such as Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) play an important role in enabling this transformation, particularly within the Technology building block across the pillars of automation, connectivity, and intelligence.
SK Robotics is proud to support customers in their Industry 4.0 transformation by providing advanced autonomous mobile robot solutions that enhance operational efficiency and digital connectivity
